3Уповай на Господа и делай добро; живи на земле и храни истину.
4Утешайся Господом, и Он исполнит желания сердца твоего.
5Предай Господу путь твой и уповай на Него, и Он совершит, 6и выведет, как свет, правду твою и справедливость твою, как полдень.
7Покорись Господу и надейся на Него. Не ревнуй успевающему в пути своем, человеку лукавствующему.
8Перестань гневаться и оставь ярость; не ревнуй до того, чтобы делать зло, 9ибо делающие зло истребятся, уповающие же на Господа наследуют землю.
10Еще немного, и не станет нечестивого; посмотришь на его место, и нет его.
11А кроткие наследуют землю и насладятся множеством мира.
12Нечестивый злоумышляет против праведника и скрежещет на него зубами своими: 13Господь же посмевается над ним, ибо видит, что приходит день его.
14Нечестивые обнажают меч и натягивают лук свой, чтобы низложить бедного и нищего, чтобы пронзить идущих прямым путем: 15меч их войдет в их же сердце, и луки их сокрушатся.
16Малое у праведника - лучше богатства многих нечестивых, 17ибо мышцы нечестивых сокрушатся, а праведников подкрепляет Господь.
18Господь знает дни непорочных, и достояние их пребудет вовек: 19не будут они постыжены во время лютое и во дни голода будут сыты; 20а нечестивые погибнут, и враги Господни, как тук агнцев, исчезнут, в дыме исчезнут.
21Нечестивый берет взаймы и не отдает, а праведник милует и дает, 22ибо благословенные Им наследуют землю, а проклятые Им истребятся.
23Господом утверждаются стопы такого человека, и Он благоволит к пути его: 24когда он будет падать, не упадет, ибо Господь поддерживает его за руку.
25Я был молод и состарился, и не видал праведника оставленным и потомков его просящими хлеба: 26он всякий день милует и взаймы дает, и потомство его в благословение будет.
27Уклоняйся от зла, и делай добро, и будешь жить вовек: 28ибо Господь любит правду и не оставляет святых Своих; вовек сохранятся они; [а беззаконные будут извержены] и потомство нечестивых истребится.
29Праведники наследуют землю и будут жить на ней вовек.
30Уста праведника изрекают премудрость, и язык его произносит правду.
31Закон Бога его в сердце у него; не поколеблются стопы его.
32Нечестивый подсматривает за праведником и ищет умертвить его; 33но Господь не отдаст его в руки его и не допустит обвинить его, когда он будет судим.
34Уповай на Господа и держись пути Его: и Он вознесет тебя, чтобы ты наследовал землю; и когда будут истребляемы нечестивые, ты увидишь.
35Видел я нечестивца грозного, расширявшегося, подобно укоренившемуся многоветвистому дереву; 36но он прошел, и вот нет его; ищу его и не нахожу.
37Наблюдай за непорочным и смотри на праведного, ибо будущность такого человека есть мир; 38а беззаконники все истребятся; будущность нечестивых погибнет.
39От Господа спасение праведникам, Он - защита их во время скорби; 40и поможет им Господь и избавит их; избавит их от нечестивых и спасет их, ибо они на Него уповают.
Do not be jealous of evildoers, do not envy those who practice iniquity, 2 for they, like grass, will soon be cut down and, like green grass, will fade.
3 Relieve in the Lord and do good; live on earth and keep the truth.
4 Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will grant the desires of your heart.
5Commit your way to the Lord, and trust in Him, and He will do it, 6 And He will bring out your righteousness and your righteousness like noon.
7Submit to the Lord and trust in Him. Do not be jealous of one who succeeds in his path, a cunning person.
8Stop being angry and forsaking anger; Do not be jealous of doing evil, 9 for those who do evil will be cut off, but those who trust in the Lord will inherit the earth.
10A little more, and the wicked will not be; look at his place, and he is gone.
11A the meek will inherit the earth and enjoy abundant peace.
12 The wicked one wicks against the righteous and gnashes his teeth at him: 13 But the Lord mocks him, for he sees that his day is coming.
14 The wicked draw their sword and draw their bow, to bring down the poor and the needy, to pierce those who walk the straight path: 15 their sword will enter their heart, and their bows will be broken.
16 A little with a righteous is better than the riches of many wicked, 17 for the muscles of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord will strengthen the righteous.
18 The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their possessions will endure forever: 19 they will not be ashamed in times of fierceness, and in days of famine they will be full; 20a the wicked will perish, and the enemies of the Lord, like the fat of the lambs, will vanish, in the smoke will vanish.
21 The wicked one borrows and does not give, but the righteous one has mercy and gives, 22 for those who are blessed by Him will inherit the earth, but the cursed by Him will be destroyed.
23 The steps of such a man are established by the Lord, and he delights in his way: 24 when he falls, he will not fall, for the Lord supports him by the hand.
25I was young and old, and did not see the righteous left behind and his descendants asking for bread: 26 he has mercy every day and lends, and his posterity will be a blessing.
27Dodge evil, and do good, and you will live forever: 28For the Lord loves righteousness and does not leave His saints; they will remain forever; [and the wicked will be cast out] and the seed of the wicked will be destroyed.
29The righteous will inherit the earth and will live on it forever.
30 The mouth of the righteous speaks out wisdom, and his tongue speaks truth.
31The law of his God is in his heart; his feet will not be shaken.
32 The wicked one spies on the righteous and seeks to kill him; 33but the Lord will not deliver him into his hands, nor will he allow him to be accused when he is judged.
34 Trust in the Lord, and keep to his way: and he will exalt you, that you may inherit the earth. and when the wicked are destroyed, you will see.
35I saw the formidable wicked, expanding like a rooted, many-branched tree; 36 but he passed, and behold he is not; looking for it and not finding it.
37Observe the blameless and behold the righteous, for the future of such a person is peace; 38 but the wicked will all be cut off; the future of the wicked will perish.
39The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their protection in times of trouble; 40and the Lord will help them and deliver them; He will deliver them from the wicked and save them, for they trust in Him.
