This book, first published in December 1989, is a personal story of an evangelist and missionary from South Africa, Erlo Steegen, through whom a spiritual awakening took place in 1966 among the cruel and militant Zulu tribe, which was then the largest and most civilized among the black population. of this country. It is based on 28 tape recordings of sermons of this minister, made during worship services, which took place from 1970 to 1987 at the Kvasizabantu mission station in South Africa and during his missionary trips to various cities in Germany. One of the reasons that prompted thousands and millions of people while reading this book to reconsider their walk before the Lord, crying about their sins, was that when writing it, Lyudmila Plett used only those audio recordings (translating them into Russian) that touched and crushed Her own heart, making deep changes in it, resulting in her personal spiritual awakening. Over time, this work was translated into Dutch, Polish, Estonian and Latvian.
