Темже и ныне, славно ублажающе тя, молим: огради миром державу нашу, и избави нас от всякого навета вражия, от глада, и труса, и огня молниина, и не забуди ны, грешныя, пресветлую память твою праздующия и непрестанно славящия прославльшаго тя Господа во веки веков.
Аминь. O holy glorious prophet of God, Elijah, the great God's law to the jealous. Thou art mighty and brave in the killing of the Baal priests, you were a vindict: for the glory of God was not implored, but you were delighted to see that which was multiplied for ever, and you did not fear the frenzy of their fury, as Jezevelins stabbed the knife on the Kiss's knife, afterwards as a whirlwind You took the chariot of chariots, you ascended to heaven with glory. This, for our sakes, unworthiness and sinfulness, we humbly pray to you, the honest God prophesies: You can adequately glorify and sing your upright patronage, and, having found a great intercessor, we will be honored with a rich mercy from the Lord.
And now, gloriously please thee, we pray: guard the world with our power, and deliver us from every slander of the enemy, from the bush, and the coward, and the lightning, and do not forget us, sinful, blessed memory of yours that abound and incessantly glorifying the glorious Lord forever and ever.
