Эти слова незабвенного Старца Николая освящают нашу жизнь и укрепляют в надежде на неизреченное милосердие Божие ко всему творению. Учитель Православия, наставник монашествующих и утешитель скорбящих, духоносный отец, стяжавший венец добродетелей и святости. Благодатные дарования, почивавшие на приснопоминаемом Старце, его благочестие и сугубое молитвенное предстательство за весь мир уподобляют егодревним преподобным отцам-пустынникам. В лице Батюшки Николая Церковь видела продолжение неугасимого духа Старчества. "Столп Русского Старчества", - так назвал Батюшку Николая Святейший Патриарх Московский и всея Руси Алексий II.
В наши апостасийные времена Блаженный старец отдал себя всецело служению Церкви:"Я все отдал людям, народу Божию и Матери-Церкви, теперь я готов и ухожу ко Сладчайшему Спасителю мира". На девятый день по блаженной кончине Батюшка Николай явился священнику и благословил записать Тропарь. Тогда же Старец явился иконописице благословил написать его образ. Икона вскоре обидьно замироточила и благоухает.
Мироточат и фотографии Старца. Святость богоугодной жизни Батюшки Господь засвидетельствовал во время облачения всечестного тела духоносного отца, когда он, подобно Святому Благоверному Князю Александру Невскому, взявшему во время отпевания разрешительную молитву из рук священника, бережно и благоговейно приподнял правую руку и сам взял Крест, который вкладывают в десницу священнослужителя.

In the person of Father Nicholas, the Church saw the continuation of the inextinguishable spirit of Eldership. "The Pillar of the Russian Eldership" - this is how Father Nicholas was called by His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Russia.
In our apostasy times, the Blessed Elder gave himself entirely to the service of the Church: "I gave everything to people, the people of God and the Mother Church, now I am ready and go to the Sweetest Savior of the world."
