Order of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Marshal of the Soviet Union Rokossovsky dated July 14, 1944 on awarding units and formations of the 1st Belorussian Front who distinguished themselves in battles during the crossing of the Yaselda and Pripyat rivers and seized the city of Pinsk with the support of the Dnieper river military flotilla, assigning them the name "Pinsk" and fireworks to commemorate the victory.
