Да здравствует Советская власть в Венгрии! Comrade Bela Kun was well acquainted with me even when he was a prisoner of war in Russia and came to me more than once to talk on the topics of communism and the communist revolution. Therefore, when the message came about the Hungarian communist revolution and, moreover, the message signed by Comrade Bela Kun, we wanted to talk with him and find out more precisely how this was with the revolution. The first reports about her made some fear that there was no deception on the part of the so-called socialists or social traitors, whether they had bypassed the Communists, especially since they were in prison. And so, on the day after the first report on the Hungarian revolution, I sent a wireless telegram to Budapest, asking Bela Kun to come to the office, asking him this kind of questions, to check if he was there, and asking him what real guarantees were there regarding government, its actual policies. The answer given by Comrade Bela Kun was quite satisfactory and dispelled all our doubts. It turned out that the left socialists came to the prison to come to Bela Kun to confer for the formation of the government. And only these left-wing socialists, sympathizing with the communists, and even the people of the center, formed a new government, and the right-wing socialists, the social traitors, so to speak, irreconcilable and incorrigible, completely left the party and left without taking any of the workers with them. Further reports showed that the policy of the Hungarian government was the hardest and in the communist direction so much so that if we started with workers' control and only gradually shifted to the socialization of industry, then Bela Kun with his authority, with his confidence that huge masses stand behind him could immediately pass a law on the transition into public ownership of all industrial enterprises of Hungary, which were capitalistically conducted. Two days passed, and we were fully convinced that the Hungarian revolution immediately, unusually quickly, became communist. The bourgeoisie itself handed over power to the Communists of Hungary. The bourgeoisie has shown the whole world that when a severe crisis sets in, when the nation is in danger, the bourgeoisie cannot rule. And only one truly popular, truly loved by the people power - the power of the Soviets of workers, soldiers and peasants' deputies.
Long live the Soviet power in Hungary!
