Memoirs Lantage Riephental (1902-2003), first translated into Russian, truly, a sensational monument of the era, who captured the time with the eyes of one of the talented women of the twentieth century. The dancer and actress, who worked at the beginning of a life path with the most famous Western actors, Litz Riephentstal became famous in the future as a brilliant master of documentary films, is hardly the main classic of this genre. Her films such as "Volya Triumph" (1935) and "Olympia" (1936-1938) will forever remain ambitious monuments of the "big style" of the totalitarian era. Highly appreciated by Hitler, Riephental knew him closely and his environment. Goebbels, Goering, Himmler and other bonsnes of the Third Reich are described by her alive, with an abundance of household and even intimate details.
In the post-war years, Riephentstal devoted himself to the study of the life of African tribes and underwater filming of oceanic flora and fauna. She told about his exotic hobbies of recent decades in the second part of the book.
