Первый альбом "Bratsch" - "Musique de partout" вышел в 1976-ом году, через два года в 1978-ом был издан альбом "J’aime un voyou, maman", тогда же группа участвовала в нескольких европейских фолк-фестивалях, в том числе в швейцарском городе Базель и голландских Делфт и Дордрехт. Летом 1981-го года "Bratsch" приняли участие в одной из постановок парижского тетра "Potiniere", по итогам которого был выпущен «живой» альбом "Live a la Potiniere" (1981). Следующей пластинки поклонникам пришлось ждать почти восемь лет - "Notes de Voyages" вышла только в 1988-ом году. Тогда же ансамбль целый месяц выступал на подмостках "Comedie Caumartin" в Париже и принял участие в фестивале "Буржская весна"...
