Originally from Santa Cruz, California, Miguel Steward grew up playing reggae, soul, classic rock, jazz, hip-hop and began his career at 18 as a guitarist and songwriter for the local band Zion Sounds. But, living very close to one of the club mecca of America - San Francisco, he did not escape the influence of house music, where he plunged after the collapse of his group in the mid-1990s, transferred his love for live instruments. During his career, he has authored more than 100 works that have been released on many labels (Naked Music, Astrelwerks, Yoshitoshi, NRK, Black Vinyl, Large, Chez, Transport, Om Records ...). He is the author of such famous and excellent compilations as Nude Tempo [Naked], 24th Street [NRK], Get Salted Volume 1 [Salted]. In 2004 he launched his own label Salted Music, which has produced many great releases.
