Dr. Feelgood was the first album of the group topping the American charts [1]. Largely due to the success of four hit singles from him, including the title track, he remains to this day the most successful in the band's career [2].
Album Dr. Feelgood alone in the United States sold more than 6 million copies [3]; in the UK, he rose to # 4 in the UK Albums Chart [4] and received gold status. [5]
Two songs of the album, “Dr. Feelgood ”and“ Kickstart My Heart ”twice (in 1990 and 1991) were nominated for Grammy (Best Hard Rock Performance), but both times gave way to the songs of Living Color. [6]
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the release of the album, Mötley Crüe performed all of its material from beginning to end at Crüe Fest 2. [7]
