Предположительно седьмого мая в Шахтах состоится реконструкция, посвящённая освобождению от немецкой оккупации. Лагеря Красной армии и вермахта развернутся на берегах водохранилища ХБК, что в черте города. Это одна из самых масштабных реконструкций Великой Отечественной в регионе: участвует больше двухсот человек и три десятка военных орудий, в том числе танки, бронетранспортёры и «Катюши». Сам бой длится час-полтора, но рыть окопы и строить блиндажи приходится за месяц, рассказал глава объединения «Миус-фронт» Андрей Кудряков.

В Шахтах можно будет увидеть высадку десанта, оценить манёвры пехоты и кавалерии. Даже обещают задействовать самолеты времен войны.
Любители русского эпоса могут отправиться в хутор Погорелов: это Белокалитвинский район и почти 140 километров от Ростова. Там покажут битву дружины князя Игоря Новгород-Северского с половецким ханом Кончаком, описанную в «Слове о полку Игореве». По преданиям, легендарная схватка произошла на реке Каяле, рядом с Белой Калитвой. Сама реконструкция – гвоздь программы этнического фестиваля «Каяльские чтения». По словам организатора Василия Лукьянова, специально для этого возвели крепость-сцену.

Каяльские чтения пройдут с 19 по 22 мая. Кроме реконструкции, в программе фестиваля: мастер-классы по ремёслам 12-го века, фольклорные песни и файер-шоу.
В конце мая-начале июня в Таганроге реконструируют события Крымской войны: по случаю её 160-летия. Покажут высадку французско-британского десанта в приморский город. Напомню, противник начал операцию в Азовском море в надежде, что это позволит изолировать полуостров от России. После планировалось захватить Ростов, но приморский город отстояли: в том числе с помощью двух полков донских казаков.
В июле можно будет увидеть эпизоды сражений в Афганистане. Там перед любителями истории стоит непростая задача: в той войне почти не было масштабных битв. Однако реконструкторам удаётся воссоздать наиболее значимые эпизоды на основе воспоминаний участников афганской войны, рассказал зам директора Донского военно-исторического музея Павел Ждамиров.

Добавим, в прошлый раз реконструкция войны в Афганистане прошла в посёлке Кадамовский, в полусотне километров от Ростова. В этом году с местом ещё не определились: но точно известно, что это будет примерно в такой же близости от города.
Также в этом году 6 августа состоится крупнейшая донская реконструкция – Азовское осадное сидение 1641-го года. Легендарную битву турок и казаков в 12-й раз покажут на Азовском валу. Каждый год зрелище собирает тысячи гостей. В этот раз оно обещает быть ещё масштабнее, чем в прошлом году: в самой реконструкции поучаствует порядка трёх сотен человек.
The historical reconstruction of the battle on the Mius-Front this year will not take place for the first time in many years. The reason is a difficult economic situation. Neither enthusiastic reenactors, nor the regional budget have any money to spend a military-historical holiday. Recall that the reconstruction of the “Breakthrough Mius-Front” was held annually on August 18 in the west of the Rostov region, in places where bloody battles took place in the summer of 1943. Hundreds of volunteers from different regions of the country traditionally participated in the re-creation of historical realities, as well as dozens of restored units of the Second World War era were involved. Also because of the problems with money this year, we had to abandon the military-historical festival “Cherkassy Town”. It was held at Starocherkassk for several years in a row at the end of May: events from the history of the Don Cossacks were reproduced. However, not everything is not so bad - despite the crisis remained in the Rostov region of reconstruction, which can be seen. Maria Pogrebnyak studied their spring-summer schedule.
Supposedly, on May 7, in Shakhty, a reconstruction will be held, dedicated to liberation from the German occupation. The camps of the Red Army and the Wehrmacht will unfold on the shores of the KhBC reservoir, which is within the city limits. This is one of the largest reconstructions of the Great Patriotic War in the region: more than two hundred people and three dozen military guns are participating, including tanks, armored personnel carriers and Katyusha. The battle itself lasts an hour and a half, but it takes a month to dig trenches and build dugouts, said the head of the Mius-Front association Andrei Kudryakov.

In the mines it will be possible to see the landing, to assess the maneuvers of infantry and cavalry. Even promise to use the aircraft during the war.
Fans of the Russian epic can go to the Pogorelov farm: this is the Belokalitvinsky district and almost 140 kilometers from Rostov. There they will show the battle of the squad of Prince Igor Novgorod-Seversky with the Polovtsian Khan Konchak, described in The Lay of Igor's Campaign. According to legend, the legendary clash took place on the river Kayala, next to the White Kalitva. The reconstruction itself is the highlight of the Kayal Readings ethnic festival program. According to organizer Vasily Lukyanov, a fortress-scene was erected specifically for this.

In late May and early June, events of the Crimean War are reconstructed in Taganrog: on the occasion of its 160th anniversary. Will show the landing of the French-British assault in a seaside city. After it was planned to capture Rostov, but the seaside city was defended: including with the help of two regiments of the Don Cossacks.
In July, you will see episodes of battles in Afghanistan. There, history lovers have a difficult task: there were almost no large-scale battles in that war. However, the reenactors manage to recreate the most significant episodes based on the memories of the participants of the Afghan war, said the deputy director of the Don Military History Museum, Pavel Zhdamirov.

Add, last time the reconstruction of the war in Afghanistan was held in the village of Kadamovsky, fifty kilometers from Rostov. This year, the place has not yet decided: but it is certain that it will be approximately in the same proximity to the city.
Also this year, on August 6, the largest Don reconstruction will take place - the Azov siege seat of 1641. The legendary battle of the Turks and Cossacks in the 12th time will show on the Azov Val. Every year the spectacle gathers thousands of guests. This time it promises to be even bigger than last year: about three hundred people will take part in the reconstruction itself.
