Кто такая Гаятри! Гаятри - это вовсе не богиня
"Гаятри чандасам мата" (Гаятри ~ мать Вед).
"Гаянтам траятхе итхи Гаятри"

Гаятри всегда присутствует там, где поётся
мантра.
У Гаятри на самом деле три имени: Гаятри,
Савитри, Сарасвати. Эти трое присутствуют
в каждом. Гаятри символизирует чувства.
Она — хозяйка над чувствами.
Савитри — владычица праны (жизненной силы).
Многим бхаратийцам известна легенда о
Савитри, вернувшей к жизни своего мужа,
Сатьявана. Савитри означает истину.
Сарасвати — правящее божество вак
(речи). Все три представляют собой
трикарана шуддхи (чистоту мыслей, слов
и дел). Хотя у Гаятри три имени, все
три находятся у нас внутри как чувства
(Гаятри), как сила речи (Сарасвати) и
как жизненная сила (Савитри).
Гаятри описывают как пятиликую и потому один
из её эпитетов — панчамукти. Может ли и
вправду быть у кого-то пять лиц? Конечно,
нет. В Рамаяне о Раване говорится, что у
него десять голов. Если бы это было так,
как он мог бы укладываться на своё ложе
да и вообще передвигаться с места на место? В этом описании скрыто иносказание. Равану называют десятиголовым, потому что он освоил четыре Веды и шесть шастр.
Так же обстоит дело и с пятью ликами Гаятри.
Эти "лица" означают следующее. ОМ (пранава,
изначальный звук) — первое "лицо".
В принципе пранавы отражена ашта-ишварья
(восемь видов богатства). Второе лицо это
"Бхур бхува суваха"', третье — "Тат савитур
вареньям"; четвертое — "Бхарго девасья
дхимахи", и пятое — "Дхийо ионах
прачодайят". Когда Гаятри-мантра именно
так и сознаётся при чтении, становится
ясно, что все пять граней Гаятри
присутствуют в каждом из нас.
Могущество Гаятри-мантры
Гаятри-мантра содержит все три аспекта, без
которых немыслимо поклонение Богу: восхваление,
медитацию и молитву. Первые девять слов
"Ом-бхур-бхавах-суваха-тат-савитур-вареньям
-бхарго-девасья" относятся к атрибутам
Божественного. "Дхимахи" является аспектом
медитации. "Дхийо йо пах прачодайат" — это
молитва Господу. Эта мантра — молитва Богу
с просьбой даровать все силы и таланты.
"Сарва рога ниварини Гаятри" (Гаятри избавляет
от всех болезней). " Сарва дукха париварини
Гаятри" (Гаятри отвращает все беды). "Сарва
ванча пхалашри {Гаятри исполняет все
желания). Гаятри дарует всё, что
благотворно. Если постоянно читать
эту мантру, появляются всевозможные
силы и способности.

относиться к Гаятри-мантре. Звук Гаятри
неразрывно связан с самим процессом дыхания.
Этот звук — напоминание о нашей истинной
форме. В дыхании присутствуют вдох и выдох.
В йога-шастре вдох называется пуракам,
а выдох — речакам. Задержка дыхания носит
название кумбакам.
Гаятри обитает в сердце
Не воображайте, что Бог где-то далеко от вас.
Он внутри вас. Вы это Бог. Люди хотят увидеть
Бога. " Сатьям джнянам анантам Брахма"
— гласят священные тексты. Истина это Бог.
Мудрость это Бог. Бесконечность это Бог.
Все три присутствуют повсюду. Истина,
мудрость и бесконечность — за пределами
времени и пространства. Истина — это то,
что действительно во все времена,
в прошлом, настоящем и будущем.
Эта истина — Гаятри.
Гаятри, поэтому, пребывает в хридайе
(сердце). Хри-дайя содержит слово дайя,

of her epithets - panchamukti . Whether and
